Three times over the summer the girls’ varsity team drove 6 ½ hours to Nampa, Idaho to compete against some of the very best club teams in Idaho and Eastern Washington. With no easy games and having to play multiple games a day in very hot gyms, the team’s depth really shined.
The teamwork stood out, as extra passes led to open buckets. With a solid season of pressing under their belts, the chaos our Lady Falcons created caused turnover after turnover. But, the best things to see were the smiles coming from the court. The girls represented Faith in the best way by their attitudes and were a shining example of why athletics are so important to our students.
Our team has shown us it's not just about wins and losses. Playing sports together is about relationships, hard work, perseverance, and commitment, sacrifice, and dedication. At FBCS, we look forward to creating as many opportunities for our athletes as we can!
