College and Career Prep

Our first priority at Faith Bible High School is preparing our students for life once they leave our school. Nurturing their faith, helping them develop a personal relationship with God, and growing their character all help carry our students through life. But we also place a great deal of focus on providing opportunities for career and college preparation.

Our faculty and staff are fully dedicated to providing individualized attention to each of our students, both academically and spiritually, and as a result, build academic excellence and develop Christ-like character. Students are challenged appropriately, nurtured as the unique individuals they are, and asked to broaden their skills and understanding on an ongoing basis.

Faith Bible Early College (FBEC) is an enhanced dual enrollment program providing accelerated college preparation and guidance within a family-oriented, faith-based learning community.

No longer will early college students have to give up what makes high school extra special. FBEC students will still enjoy a full high school experience, including sports, extracurricular activities, retreats, fine arts, student leadership, worship, ministry, and school dances.

Students will attend classes on the Faith Bible High School campus following a schedule aligned with the high school, permitting ongoing academic and spiritual support, and continuity with their
    high school campus life.

The curriculum, delivered in cooperation with professors from Grand Canyon University and Portland Community College, will enable students to fulfill general education requirements for a four-year college degree and work towards their Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer degree. Students will also benefit from the relationships and support they will receive from on-site FBCS teachers, staff, and friends.
  • PSAT/SAT

We provide the PSAT onsite for all juniors, and as an option for all sophomores. We fully encourage our students to take the SAT, regardless of their post-high school plans, as we feel it is a good life experience.
  • Career-Start Mentoring

What better way to explore career interests than to work one of one with a mentor within a chosen industry? We work to pair our students with mentors who are enthusiastic about their careers, about inspiring teens, and who hope to prepare these students for their futures! The Career Mentoring program also challenges students to hone their communication skills, create effective resumes, and conduct themselves effectively during interviews. They learn skills necessary for success in general, as they enter a job or career, but also delve deeply into interesting fields and industries. This program has been an excellent springboard for many of our students as they choose their life course after high school.
